jaguarWell here’s your chance. Jaguar has launched a classic car driving experience day. You’ll get to drive some of the rarest cars from the British brand has to offer.

It will be the first time in the company’s history that the public will be allowed to drive their most prestigious cars.

How has all of this been made possible? Jaguar managed to snap up over 500 heritage classics from a private collector. They were then restored to a condition suitable for driving, with some being over 70 years old.

What classics are on offer?

The cars on offer include Le Mans D-Type racing car, the classic E-Types Series 1 to 3 along with the XKSS, which dates back to the 1950’s. The Jaguar F-Type R Coupe will certainly prove an attractive option too, a car which has never been driven by the public before. Many other cars which the public have not been able to drive will be able to do so too. Modern models such as the XF and the F-Type are also available to drive.

How much?

All cars will be driven Jaguar’s Warwickshire’s testing facility. The driving experiences will be split into either half day or full day experience packages, starting from November this year. Prices will vary depending on what car you drive and for how long you drive it. Costs will start from £95 and range up to £2,000 depending on the options.

A basic Jaguar Experience can cost up to £250, depending on the choice of car selected. Passenger rides are also available.

£2,000 will cover the Grace and Pace experience. This allows you to drive all available cars for a while day. You’ll also get to view Jaguar’s ‘Perfect 10’ rarest and best models. This particular collection includes the XJ13 along with the SS100, a very rare car indeed.
