The cars with the best residual value – Part 1 0

Audi TT RS Coup /StandaufnahmeWe all love cars but sometimes they can be expensive to run. Some of us like to change our cars every so often, so it’s good to buy a vehicle which has a good sell on value.

Running a car can prove costly at times. As we all know, fuel isn’t cheap. Filling up at the pumps can put a severe dent in your wallet. On top of that insurance premiums and road tax are on the increase. What counts the most is how much your car depreciates, that counts as the biggest loss.

A few factors to think about

Is there really any point in owning the cheapest to run car with the lowest bills if it is not going to be worth anything in three years. Known as residual values too, they are affected by many factors. One of these factors is surprisingly the colour. Brighter colours of smaller are good for reselling the vehicle. Younger drivers tend to go for smaller cars, with them preferring more vibrant colours. Safer and more conservative colours suit larger cars. It’s rare to see a bright yellow Audi A4.

Car Service

You must maintain your car properly. A regular car service is essential for keeping the vehicle healthy. Full service history helps a lot in terms of your vehicle’s value. It will prove that your vehicle is mechanically prime and will last longer.
