The cars with the best residual value – Part 2 0

BMW-3-GT1_2473727bToday we continue our series on the cars which have the strongest sell on value.

BMW 3 Series GT 318d M Sport

This particular BMW GT 3 Series can keep 46.9 per cent of it’s value after three years. Brand new it costs £33,150, after three years it will be worth £16,343. The Saloon version isn’t far behind, keeping 45.5 per cent of it’s value. The Touring keeps 45.6 per cent after three years. Expect the brand new BMW 4 Series M Sport to hold on to a whopping 52.4 per cent of it’s value.

Bentley Continental GT 4.0 V8

The Bentley costs £123,850 brand new and manages to keep 52.5 per cent of that value after three years. After that amount of time the car will be worth £65,021.

The luxurious vehicle will set you back quite a bit. If you could afford that type of vehicle in the first place, it’s residual value is probably the last thing you would be thinking about. Despite containing a 4.0 litre twin turbo V8 W12 engine, it is able to deliver a brilliant 26.7 MPG. That is quite impressive for a vehicle of it’s size and type.

Dacia Duster 1.6 Access 2WD

The Romanian Dacia Duster is able to keep 55.9 per cent of its value after three years. Buying it brand brand new represents great value for money at £8,995, with it being worth £5,028 after three years.

The company are slowly but surely making a name for themselves in the UK. They sell their cars in a no nonsense fashion which seems to be enticing customers. The Duster acts as a fairly competitive rival to the Nissan Qashquai. The car offers a 475 litres of space in it’s boot.

Ferrari 458 Italia

You’ll lose £62,663 on a Ferrari Italia. Would that put those who could afford off purchasing it? It is in fact a brilliant deal, with the supercar keeping 64.9 per cent of it’s value after three years.

The 458 Italia is still one of the best supercars around. It offers a breathtaking performance with second hand models being great value for money.

Hyundai Santa Fe 2.2 CRDi manual

If you want a cheaper alternative to a BMW X3 and the Audi Q5, look no further than the Hyundai Santa Fe 2.2 CRDi. This is one the few 4×4’s that actually offer decent running costs. The car is also not as bulky as rivals. The car is worth around £25,850, this value would be £13,158 in three years.
