The Mercedes-Maybach S600 at the LA Motor Show 0

s600Is this the most luxurious car ever? The Mercedes-Maybach S600 has revealed at this year’s LA Motor Show. The brand new S-Class Mercedes-Maybach saloon will go straight to the top of the company’s range.
As the pictures show, the vehicle is quite sizeable. It is 200mm longer than a long wheelbase S-Class and has more space than the Maybach 57 model.

Pure luxury inside and out

No plastic material will be seen inside the car. It will only contain luxury materials; with woods, metals and leathers represent a truly upmarket image. The standard S-Class of course has the odd bit of plastic material here and there. The Maybach model will have those particular sections covered in leather. That includes the window frames and the bottom of the seats, which no one can even see.

530 BHP – V12 engine

The car will be able to produce an outstanding 530 BHP and 830Nm of torque with its V12 engine. Emphasis is not on power however. It is more about refinement and the quality of the drive. Mercedes-Benz has also brought in the element of economy with their V6 S400 4MATIC model. There will also be a S500 V8 Maybach made available too.

Higher roofline

A huge design change has been implemented with the new Mercedes-Maybach S600. One of the most noticeable changes is the roofline being made higher, giving the cars a more dominating look whilst adding more weight at the same time.

It will cost you around £130,000

The Mercedes-Maybach S600 is expected to be on sale next year, costing £130,000. It is almost certain to be the only Mercedes-Maybach version of entire range. In that sense the car would certainly be a collector’s item.
Ola Källenius, the Marketing Chief at Mercedes-Benz confirmed that there are no future plans for anymore Maybach models, saying that the luxury division would only work with specific models.

Unbelievable packages

A chauffeur package comes with an extra 3 inches of legroom for the backseat on the passenger side. There is also a massage functionality which comes standard with the car. An extra Executive Rear Seat Package Plus and an Air Balance perfume package are features which will certainly bring about a great of interest. There are other features which you won’t see inside your average car including Robbe & Berking champagne flutes.
Mercedes’ famous Magic Sky Control has been made available, a feature that is sure to see the most being made out of it in a luxurious car such as the Mercedes-Maybach S600.
