Long gone are the three stooges, BBC’s juggernaut unveils newest line-up of presenters including one Hollywood star, one racing legend and… well, Chris Evans.

Chris Evans is the main host of the show, news that unsettled some fans of the show who were devastated to see ex-Top Gear figurehead Jeremy Clarkson sacked following the infamous ‘fracas’ with a producer (‘Fracas’ – polite way of saying he punched a man because he was hungry). Evans may not have been everyone’s first choice to replace Clarkson, but news got worse for fans of the show when fellow founding members James May and Richard Hammond left the show in solidarity to Clarkson. It was widespread news when it was announced last week that Hollywood star, Friend to all and self-confessed petrol-head Matt LeBlanc would be joining Evans, but now we know who finalises the line-up.

Sabine Schmitz, the German racing driver who has raced for likes of Porsche and BMW, will be adding her first-hand experiences to the show along with F1 pundit Eddie Jordan, who once ran his own Formula 1 team including the likes of Michael Schumacher. YouTube presenter Chris Harris and motoring journalist Rory Reid round off the new team. Fan favourite enigma The Stig will also be returning, with anticipation about who is under the mask this time sure to be high. Could it be one of LeBlanc’s old Friends co-stars? Chandler and Joey together again?

Top Gear returns in May and we want to know what you think about this new look edition. Will you be watching without the old familiar faces? Are you excited to have a TV show dedicated to cars on air again?
