2016 Toyota Prius Takes to the public roads 0
The upcoming 2016 Toyota Prius hybrid has been spotted testing with a brand new look ahead of its 2016 release, the images for the disguised version show that its design is a lot cleaner and more aerodynamic then the last model.
It’s rumoured that the new Prius will include different trim styles for the first model, the Plug-In has adopted a darker front bumper and sharper lines for the LED running lights. There are also different alloy designs that will set them apart from other competition like the Ford and Hyundai hybrids. The 2016 Toyota Prius is set to be sportier and provide more superior driving dynamics while keeping the reputation of a high quality and reliable vehicle.
Sales for the last Toyota Prius have declined a bit due to the falling fuel prices and the rising efficiency of conventional gasoline cars, as well as the rise of fully-electric vehicles. When it comes to hybrid vehicles the 2016 Toyota Prius is at the top of the leader board given its previous and consistent successes over the years, its efforts are still not enough to uplift or perk up the sagging segment. Prius sales this year has dropped by 15.8% compared to last year, this figure is not just for Toyota Prius but for all other hybrids out in the market today.
The 2016 Toyota Prius is due to be revealed at September’s Frankfurt Motor Show and its confirmed to be released between November and December, so until then we will have more rumours and information coming up in the run up to the Toyota Prius reveal.
