Tesla Model 3 set for Release in 2017 0

The all electric Tesla Model 3 is set to be officially revealed in March later this year, before it goes on sale in mid 2017. The Models 3 is essentiality just an all electric version of the Alfa Romeo Giula, Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, Jaguar XE, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and the Lexus IS.

2016-Tesla-Model-3The Tesla Model 3 will be available will electric motors only, but there will be a number of choices for buyers to choose from, like a variety of electrical outputs and battery sizes, with all of the batteries being manufactured in Tesla’s Gigafactory in Nevada, USA.

This facility is said to be the most advanced of its kind in the world, with the range of engines expected to produce up to 250 miles while fully charged, if the car is driven at a constant speed of 65 miles per hour.

Although most of the Tesla Model 3 remains a secret, but it has been revealed that the most powerful version Model 3, in Ludicrous Mode which is Tesla’s fastest setting, could eclipse BMW’s record for an electric engine of 0 to 62mph in 4.1 seconds.

Cost

Nothing has been officially announced, but early sources have suggested that the Tesla Model 3 prices will start at around £30,000, which will be similar to the current prices for standard non electric vehicles.

Rivals

The electric car class market in the most competitive market currently around today, with most of the current models having established themselves over past few decades.

But the Tesla Model 3 is set to challenge these models with its electric power train, but high mileage buyers will have to weight up the tax and economy benefits, to the benefits of the latest range of diesel engine improvements.
