2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupé full specs 1
The C-Class Coupé is the latest C-Class saloon, and set to share similarities in design to the recently released S-Class Coupé. This new model is set to be 9.5 centre meters longer and 4cm wider, creating a more spacious cabin. This second generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupé will be on display at the Frankfurt motor show this month, and arriving in the UK later this year.
This C-Class Coupé will come with a choice of two four cylinder engines; a 154 break horse power 1.6 litre in the entry level C180 and a 2.0 litre unit the produces 181bhp in the C200. There will also be a 2.1 litre four cylinder diesel engine that will produce 168bhp in the C220d and 242bhp in the C250d.
The gearbox choices will include a six speed manual or a nine speed automatic in the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupé. Also available will be the 4Matic four wheel drive system, alongside the standard rear wheel drive option.
This Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupé will include a Bluetooth compatible entertainment system, allowing internet compatibility through a mobile phone. Also included will be Mercedes-Benz attention assist function, collision prevention assist which is able to carry out breaking at speeds of 124 miles per hour, in combinations with a system called the adaptive brake assist.
Full pricing has yet to be officially announced by Mercedes, by it is expected that prices will start at £30,000 when the car finally goes on sale later this year. While there will be discounts of around 10% for the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupé, in line with the similar discount available in the current model.
The BMW 4 Series is set to be Mercedes main rival upon release, which is equally well equipped and priced at a similar value, which has been rated highly since its release earlier this year.
